Men in traditional Sarakatsan costume participate in the equestrian section of the 13th annual meeting of people of Sarakatsan descent at Pertouli, near the town of Trikala in central Greece. About 30,000 people attended. Many members of what was once a nomadic, livestock-breeding clan live in the Trikala area.
