Thessaloniki warehouse razed by huge blaze
A fireman douses the last few flames of a major blaze that destroyed a Thessaloniki warehouse belonging to the Lidl supermarket chain yesterday. The fire, caused by a spark from equipment being used to repair the roof of the 2,000-square-meter building, engulfed the area in a thick pall of smoke that was visible from the city center. There were no reports of any injuries.
