A young girl looks around during the closing session of the Youth Parliament, an annual assembly of schoolchildren playing the role of parliamentary deputies. Over the past decade, the event has become increasingly popular for showcasing youngsters and their take on social problems. Parliament Speaker Dimitris Sioufas said yesterday that the initiative would be expanded to include aspiring MPs from Europe. The ultimate aim is to create a Youth Europarliament, Sioufas said.
