Meimarakis hints at reshuffle, early elections
Defense Minister Evangelos Meimarakis left an Inner Cabinet meeting yesterday hinting that the government is considering calling snap polls. Meimarakis said early elections were not in the government’s ‘aims’ but that nobody could predict what would happen. Also, when questioned about a possible Cabinet reshuffle, he said it would not happen for publicity reasons but due to any shortcomings or friction between ministers.
