Students of music schools…

Students of music schools from Athens and Piraeus marched through the city center yesterday, playing their instruments to draw attention to their protests against plans to abolish the routes of buses that shuttle them to and from their schools. The students, with painted musical notes on their faces and hands, played flutes, oboes and clarinets during a march through central Athens that culminated outside Parliament. The protest was also attended by parents of the students who expressed outrage at local authorities’ claims regarding inadequate funding. They want the Education Ministry to intervene.
