Shattered facade…
Employees are seen yesterday behind the shattered facade of a window of the Public Power Corporation (PPC) building in Koropi, eastern Attica, which was targeted by unidentified assailants on Thursday night. Staff said they heard a loud bang outside the building, which they had believed to be a gun going off. The PPC workers’ union condemned the attack, which it described as ‘attempted murder.’ Police who examined the scene of the attack said it was more likely that someone had used a slingshot to launch a stone at the building. There was no indication who the perpetrators might have been.
