The first of four new gunboats being built for the navy at the Hellenic Shipyards in Skaramangas courses down the slipway yesterday. The 181-million-euro program is set for completion next July. Speaking at the launch, Defense Minister Yiannos Papantoniou said Greece is engaged in its biggest-ever naval procurement program.
