Pedestrians make their point to drivers
A pedestrian group (www.pezh.gr) held a protest outside the Attiki metro and electric railway station on Saturday to raise awareness about the dangers faced by pedestrians. A 56-year-old Bulgarian woman and her 5-year-old granddaughter were hit and killed by a truck driver outside the station on January 23. The pair were struck when they stepped into the road to get around cars parked on the sidewalk.
