A musical break for the president in Ioannina
President Karolos Papoulias listens to a performance of a traditional folk song at the premises of the Society for Epirote Studies in the northwestern town of Ioannina yesterday. The president also inspected the society’s exhibition on the history of traditional folk music during his visit, which coincides with celebrations marking the 96th anniversary of the city’s liberation from the Ottoman Turks.
