Turkey’s actions in the Aegean…

Foreign Minister Dora Bakoyannis met yesterday in Washington with US Senator John Kerry (center), chairperson of the Senate Committee on Foreign Relations, on the second day of her visit to the US. Bakoyannis also met yesterday with US National Security Adviser General James Jones and is due to hold talks today with Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, when the two officials are expected to discuss Greece’s role as the current president of the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe as well as issues that directly affect Greece, such as Turkey’s actions in the Aegean.
