Vandals target two banks near city center
A poster is seen through the smashed window of a branch of National Bank that was attacked yesterday on the corner of Patission and Sarantaporou streets near central Athens. A group of some 20 hooded youths smashed the bank’s windows using rocks and pieces of wood. At virtually the same time, another group attacked a branch of Proton Bank in the central district of Neos Cosmos, also causing minor damage to the exterior.
