Empty streets of Athens an attraction
A double-decker sightseeing bus makes its way along an empty road in central Athens yesterday, allowing visitors to admire the landmarks in less busy and noisy surroundings than usual. The city is probably less crowded now than at any other point during the year as hundreds of thousands of residents have left for their August vacations.
