Greece beats Turkey at Eurobasket
The national basketball team managed last night to overcome a stubborn Turkish side in the quarterfinals of Eurobasket 2009 in Poland and win 76-74 in overtime. The regular time of 40 minutes had ended at 65-65, with Turkey equalizing in the very last second. Greece’s victory takes it to the final-four of the tournament, where it will face world champion Spain tonight at 7.30 p.m. Greek time.
