Anti-piracy operations…

A French warship, the Commandant Ducuing, sails along the Corinth Canal yesterday. The vessel sailed from its home port in Toulon and is on its way to the Indian Ocean where it will take part in anti-piracy operations. The Commandant Ducuing, built in 1983, is one of nine A69 type Aviso vessels in service in the French navy. They are small warships designed mainly for coastal anti-submarine defense but are also used in high-sea escort missions.
