Pension reform…

Finance Minister Giorgos Papaconstantinou (l) and Labor and Social Insurance Minister Andreas Loverdos leave the Maximos Mansion yesterday following talks about pension reform. In a meeting chaired by Deputy Prime Minister Theodoros Pangalos, the ministers agreed that the pension bill soon to be tabled in Parliament will conform to the terms of an agreement signed by Greece, the European Commission and the International Monetary Fund. The pact envisages the early introduction of unpopular measures such as the raising of the legal retirement age.
