‘On a safe path’…

Addressing an audience of shipowners and other industry officials, Prime Minister George Papandreou stressed that Greece was ‘on a safe path’ to reviving its debt-ridden economy and dismissed widespread debate about the country going bankrupt or being forced to leave the eurozone. ‘If we are not distracted by this endless speculation… one thing is certain: Greece will emerge stronger from this crisis,’ he said.
