Muammar Khadafy…

Prime Minister George Papandreou (right) visited Tripoli yesterday for talks with Libyan leader Muammar Khadafy (left). The two leaders signed an agreement to boost cooperation in various sectors, including tourism and energy, and to promote investments between the two countries. They also discussed the Cyprus problem, Greek-Turkish relations and the situation in the Middle East. Papandreou, whose father was a good friend of Khadafy’s, said the pact marked the revival of the good relationship between Greece and Libya in the past.
