Scraping the bottom of the sea for art
A group of artists used waste that had been dredged from the bottom of the Thermaic Gulf on Saturday to put together a sculpture that will be on display at Thessaloniki’s seafront promenade throughout this week. Some 60 divers and 40 fishing boats took part in the effort to collect material for the sculptures, which aims to raise environmental awareness.
