Greece’s national soccer team does some light jogging during a training session yesterday at the Northwood School in northern Durban, South Africa. Ahead of Greece’s second World Cup match against Nigeria on Thursday, striker Dimitris Salpigidis attempted to add a note of optimism after Saturday’s 2-0 defeat by South Korea. ‘We have quality and we’re not out of the tournament yet. There’s still two games to play,’ he said. ‘We didn’t play well as a team. Korea was not a better team than us, we just made mistakes,’ Salpigidis added.
