Firemen in Drama battle warehouse blaze
Firefighters spray a jet of water into the embers of a car tire warehouse near Drama, northern Greece, yesterday afternoon. It took firemen several hours to extinguish the blaze, believed to have been kindled by a bolt of lightning during a storm. Elsewhere, forest fires in Keratea and Velo, near Corinth, were doused before they could spread.
