Remembering the Greek Resistance

A new museum, dedicated to the Greek resistance to fascist invaders in World War II, was inaugurated in the southeastern Athens suburb of Ilioupoli yesterday. The museum contains a variety of memorabilia from the 1940-44 resistance movement, including uniforms worn by Greek fighters, weapons, ammunition, arms and photographs.
