Former employees of privatized state carrier Olympic Air blocked Panepistimiou Street in central Athens yesterday during a protest outside the General Accounting Office. The protesters claim not to have received any compensation since their contracts were terminated. They threatened to stage more protests and keep blocking traffic in the city center until ‘the government solves the problems of every last OA employee.’
