George Papandreou holds up…

Prime Minister George Papandreou holds up an electronic device as he addresses teachers and pupils at a secondary school on the island of Lemnos yesterday. Papandreou said his vision of a ‘digital school,’ heralded a year ago, ‘is finally being realized.’ The aim is to modernize classes with the use of computers, interactive charts and digital laboratories. Only 35 percent of teachers have used electronic devices in their classes. The European Union average is 74 percent.
