Santorini youths protest shipwreck inaction
Young residents of Santorini gathered in front of Parliament in Athens yesterday to protest the failure to salvage the Sea Diamond cruise liner, which sank off the Cycladic island in April 2007. The previous government had threatened the ship’s owner, Louis Hellenic Cruises, with legal action if it failed to remove the wreck.
