Downpour in Epirus causes chaos on roads
Motorists drive along flooded roads in the northwestern city of Ioannina, in the prefecture of Epirus, yesterday. Heavy rainfall caused problems on roads and provoked landslides along the section of the Athens-Ioannina national highway near Terovo. Several homes in the area were flooded and some villages were cut off for several hours.
