Greeks help combat Israeli forest fire

Greek and Turkish firefighting airplanes fly over the Mediterranean Sea near Atlit Naval Base, south of Haifa, in Israel yesterday. Greece sent aircraft and firefighters to battle a forest fire close to the northern Israeli city of Haifa that has killed more than 40 people and forced the evacuation of thousands of people. The Israeli government did not rule out the possibility that the blaze was started by arsonists.
