Winter finally reaches Greece
Residents of Thessaloniki look out at the choppy sea from a promenade in the northern port city yesterday. After several weeks of unseasonably good weather, meteorologists forecast an abrupt drop in temperatures over the weekend. In mountainous areas, including the northern suburbs of Athens, snow is expected to fall.
