Public transport strikes to continue
An empty Athens metro station is seen through its mesh shutters yesterday during a 24-hour strike by public transport workers. There will be a stoppage today on all modes of transport apart from buses from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. and there is likely to be another 24-hour strike on Monday.
