Clouds get in way of partial solar eclipse

People crowded around a telescope set up yesterday by the Greek Astronomy Club outside the Eugenides Foundation’s Digital Planetarium in Athens to watch a partial solar eclipse. The eclipse was visible between 9 a.m. and about 10.20 a.m. but was partially obscured by clouds. Gray skies also spoiled the show for viewers in other parts of the world.
