Hatzichristos passed away

Costas Hatzichristos, veteran actor of screen and stage comedies, died in Athens yesterday at the age of 80 after a long illness. Hatzichristos, who first appeared on stage during the German occupation in World War II, went on to open his own theater company, and produced and directed many films during the heyday of Greek cinema in the 1950s and 1960s. The luxury craft, which was confiscated under a law targeting organized crime, will now be based on Ios and will patrol the seas around Ios, Folegandros, Sikinos and Santorini. Her former owner is in prison pending trial for drugs offenses.
