New ‘blood’ at universities

No reform in higher education can succeed unless the chains of nepotism preventing the renewal of teaching staff at the institutions are broken. 

Young Greeks excelling at foreign universities need to know that they will be judged on merit if they want to come back and continue their career in their homeland. 

Only then will we regain the talent that left the country. Only then will we stop losing so many worthy scientists.
