The cost of medicine
Recent data regarding expenditure for medicines show that the overall cost has not gone down. It simply appears to have been transferred from the state budget to the patients insured by the public health fund.
If, after so much effort, an unnecessary amount of medicine is still being prescribed, the state needs to do something to ensure that Greece is no longer the only negative exception in the European Union.
