Facts, fiction and going too far
I read your newspaper online every morning. Although I think your paper is a bit anti-American at times, I still like to read it. Today, I really thought that your writer, Mr Pantelis Boukalas really went too far in his article entitled «’Liberation’ by occupation» (April 8, 2003). It seems that he doesn’t trust America, which is truly a friend of Greece, and seems to side more with Iraq. And what I find funny is that he seems not to believe our spokesman for the US military. Does he believe the Iraqi spokesman who said that US forces are not in Baghdad even though you can see US tanks out the window?… JOHN DREGOR, via e-mail.
