No sense of time or place
This is not the time to appoint parliamentary committees on the economy.
No parliamentary committee has ever made any substantial revelations or contributed to the punishment of those responsible for any scandal.
On the contrary, shallow and amateurish investigations have only increased the anger of public opinion, which anyway believes that the political system is constantly covering things up.
In any case, what is most pressing today is the issue of national consensus. It?s time for all responsible powers to work together in order to put an end to the country?s defamation abroad, and to avoid the destruction of its economy and overall havoc.
Whichever party ?brain? conceived the idea of yet another committee has no sense of time or place.
These days Greek citizens are eager to save themselves, their families and their country and find it simply annoying when they have to observe political parties carrying on with their petty partisan traditions.
