Bad education
International surveys paint a very bleak picture about the quality of Greece’s education system.
Our society needs to finally wake up and demand an immediate and decisive reaction from the authorities.
Public debate regarding education tends to revolve around the demands of the unions. It is high time we opened a dialogue to find out what we can do to improve the quality of our schools, what we can do to ensure the fair evaluation of our teachers and professors, and how we can efficiently bring the country’s education system into sync with the needs and the requirements of modern-day society and markets.
The world is moving at full throttle, while Greece stands paralyzed. We need to get moving.
