Politicians of bankrupcty

The country’s bankruptcy is primarily a result of the bankruptcy of Greece’s political system. As a society we glorified people with no substance, either because of their excellent communication skills or because they came from major political dynasties.

For as long as the country was posting growth and enjoying a period of euphoria, voters kept choosing the same people at the ballot boxes, while local media unwisely promoted them.

A certain model of politician was established, along with the general glorification of their so-called lifestyle, a model which is currently being unmasked and demoted by Greek society.

However, it’s time to move forward, away from the displays of cannibalism. The most important thing is to elevate politicians who deserve it because of who they are and of what they have accomplished and discard the inadequate family scions and those who confuse politics with marketing.
