Staying on the same page
No government can function effectively when its ministers are not on the same page and working toward the same ends, no matter what some – such as the current education minister – may think.
Greece, as the interior minister so justly pointed out, has made important commitments that it must fulfill and the government is working hard to made sure that they are.
It will be very bad thing for Greece if the ministers who are willing to take the tough decisions start slacking off because they feel like suckers compared to their colleagues who shirk their responsibilities. Such an attitude would surely bring all efforts to reform the country to a grinding halt.
