Legitimacy control

The process of checking the authenticity of the qualifications of civil servants hired in the broader public sector during the period of major waste and corruption must move on.

The evaluation of all those employed in the public sector must start at one point and actually be carried out.

The vast majority of Greeks will throw their support behind the coalition government if the administration dares to get to the bottom of this matter, because people will no longer tolerate the idea of paying exorbitant taxes for civil servants who presented forged documents in order to get hired, not to mention public sector employees who are paid to do nothing.

The opposition would be committing a big mistake if it tries to provoke conflict with regard to this issue.

As for the government, it too would be making a grave error if it failed to finally put up a fight for a genuine reform.
