A lackluster campaign

Voters who care about the stability and prosperity of the country will do their duty at the ballot box on Sunday. They may be bitter or even angry, but they know what is at stake and will express their support for the center-right.

That said, they have every right to be disappointed in the election campaign, which has no clear identity or a vision for the future. It is a tired campaign. We all understand the exhaustion that has come after two-and-a-half years of hard work that effectively kept the country standing. Those responsible for shaping the election campaign obviously did not understand that the outcome of Sunday’s elections will determine the fate of the entire country. Had they realized this, they would not have insisted on the current approach.

It is a good thing, therefore, that the majority of citizens who will be choosing the path of maturity and responsibility know what’s at stake and will rise to the occasion.
