State officials

The coalition administration is maintaining an established practice which has led to some disastrous results for the country in the past.

A number of failed politicos and party officials are being appointed to the position of general secretary at key ministries.

The vast majority of Greeks demand that each government seek out the best man or woman for every position, while at the same time giving equal opportunities to partisan and non-partisan figures.

The continuation of this terrible practice will only serve to reinforce the despair felt by all those people who believe that nothing ever changes in this country, no matter who is in government.

In the meantime, there are thousands of educated, trained and experienced Greeks out there looking for a job.

No one has the right to deprive them of the opportunity to submit, at the very least, an application for the position of general secretary at a ministry.
