ROYAL CINEMA: Los Angeles, 14 – An enthusiastic crowd greeted King Paul and Queen Frederika of Greece with loud cheers here yesterday as they arrived at City Hall where an official reception was to be given in their honor. After the reception, the king and queen then (…) went on to Hollywood, where they attended a dinner given by the association of movie producers, at which there were 300 guests. The royal visitors were then taken on a guided tour of the Paramount studios and agreed to a request to take part in a scene from a new movie being filmed at that time with Danny Kaye, titled «White Christmas.» The royal couple sang along with the stars to the theme song of the movie, under a snow-covered Christmas tree in front of the Technicolor cameras. However, the scene will not be included in the final version of the film when it is released. The royal couple were accompanied in the song by Danny Kaye, Rosemary Clooney and Vera Ellen, who play the starring roles in the film.
