FOREIGN PROPAGANDA: The Education Ministry is considering measures to deal effectively with moves by members of other religions to proselytize. According to sources, a request will be made to amend existing legislation regarding proselytizing and the circulation of propaganda. At the same time, additional clerics are to be appointed in order to deal with the activities of Jehovah’s Witnesses and other sects. These clerics, with the help of parish priests and teachers, will organize a campaign to deal with these foreign propagandists. METRO: (From «An Athenian’s Notes») – The electric trolley buses are certainly a fine solution for transport along the two main road arteries in Athens – Patission Street and Kifissias Avenue. However, it is not possible for a city such as Athens to ever be rid of its traffic jams, which are, after all, common to all major cities in Europe. (…) The only other solution for urban transport is an underground railway. The construction of a few of these lines should be considered for Athens (…).
