Catastrophic negotiations

Negotiations between the current Greek government and the country’s international creditors have brought nothing but catastrophic results so far.

Yesterday, however, the person who designed the Greek government’s approach to the talks handed in his resignation.

The damage that has been caused to the economy and the banking system from his tactics is shocking. What’s worse, Greece has not gained anything of significance or at least anything that could not have been gained without the economic meltdown we are currently experiencing.

So who will take responsibility for the debacle? Because a lot of the damage that has been wreaked is irreversible and will entrap the country in yet another cycle of recession and misery.
