Inconsistency sparks anger
Some Greek taxpayers have just found another good reason to be angry at the leftist-led government.
First they spent money to buy a car of a type that is exempt from road taxes. They organized their spending around this purchase, and in many cases continue to do so.
Then came a new government which – for reasons of its own – decided to revoke the tax-free status of these vehicles.
It is this sort of inconsistency that generates frustration.
