A clear sign for investors

US Secretary of State John Kerry announced during his visit to Athens on Friday that he was ready to assist Greece to return to growth and attract investment. Similar statements were previously made by French President Francois Hollande and former US President Bill Clinton, among others.

However, they will not be able to help in that direction if the country doesn’t help itself first.

No one will invest in a country whose ministers are openly sabotaging investments currently in progress or projects which are about to launched.

Greece has had major structural problems in this area. But when you add to this the ignorance and ideological fixations of its politicians and state officials, the situation becomes unbearable.

Reversing the climate would require a clear signal from Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras himself as well as from the ministers in charge. There is no time left.
