The only way is investment

The country is in dire need of major foreign investment.

This is the only way if Greece is to enter a period of growth, a fact that even Greek Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras recognizes at this point.

What is pivotal now is for large-scale investments, such as the development of the large plot at Elliniko in southern Athens and the privatization of airports and major ports to proceed.

Of course there are always those who complain perpetually with regard to privatizations, either because of their own ideological obsessions or due to their own interests.

However, they have yet to propose anything realistic as an alternative.

Greece will become a different country altogether if all that is foreseen in combination with these projects actually takes place.

The coalition government is doing the right thing in promoting them.

After all, there is no more time to lose.
