TERRORIST ORGANIZATION: Hania, 24 (From our correspondent) – A group of police officers and village guards have arrested the bandit Dimitrios M. Kontoconstantis (aka Stefanos) after a shootout in Deliana, Kissamos (on Crete). The outlaw, who is from Athens, was active during the occupation, and also during the Decembrist movement, as a member of a terrorist group «Opla» (Weapons) in the Athens district of Koukaki. He had committed 10 murders and was sentenced to death by an Athens court. Kontoconstantis arrived in Hania in 1947 where he joined the bandit gang. GREEK MUSICIANS: The new board of the Union of Greek Musicians is as follows: President Manolis Kalomiris, Vice President M. Varvoglis, General Secretary A. Evangelatos, Treasurer A. Nezeritis. SNOW: The recent onslaught of cold weather is continuing unabated. The mountains of Attica, even Hymettus, are blanketed in deep snow. Yesterday and throughout last night there was a severe frost. Even Kifissia was covered in snow in the early hours of the morning.
