Dilapidated transport

The Greek capital’s blue buses and trolley buses are in a dire condition. This is reflected in the sorry state of the fleet and the scarcity of services. It is also confirmed by the data provided by OSY, the public company responsible for running buses and trolley buses.

Public transport is supposedly one of the standard services that every state in the civilized world provides its citizens with. This does not be the case here in Greece, as neither the state nor the citizens share this belief.

It could be because most of these vehicles were purchased with funds from the despised European Union.
