LAW AND ORDER: A bill was tabled in Parliament yesterday establishing the Undersecretariat for Public Order and Security at the Interior Ministry. PEOPLE’S RIGHT WING: At 10 a.m. yesterday, Prime Minister Alexandros Papagos had a meeting with the general secretary of the General Confederation of Greek Workers, Mr F. Makris, who underlined the working classes’ trust in Papagos due to the personal interest he takes in satisfying their hopes. He mentioned the wretched condition of the workers due to long-term unemployment and low wages. ARTISTS’ PROTEST: From a telegram sent to the prime minister and the interior and education ministers: «We issue a strong protest after being informed of unprecedented action by Rhodes Municipality against modern Greek art in taking down a work by the sculptor Kapralos symbolizing the fortitude of the enslaved Dodecanese, and tossing it in a storeroom. (…) We demand it be immediately replaced (…).
