Mixed signals
The large-scale investments the country needs are being undermined by government officials and some within the state apparatus.
And in doing this they are torpedoing the government’s efforts to persuade the community of international investors that Greece is ready to welcome them.
Not only does it not help to send mixed signals, but it also helps to entrench very negative stereotypes of Greece among investors.
